Welcome to the
Creative Precinct
Home to more than 70 artists & creative businesses.
At TWT Property Group we see ourselves as more than just developers. We’re also dedicated patrons of the arts. Our passion for enlivening local communities through creative and artistic expression was the fundamental driving force behind our Creative Precinct initiative back in 2014.
Dedicating 4,000 square metres of subsidised commercial space to artists and creative businesses, across three blocks between Atchison and Chandos Street in St Leonards, TWT Property Group has cultivated a supportive and enriching artistic space in Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
Today TWT Creative Precinct is one of the Lower North Shore’s most inspiring developments, home to more than 70 art studios, galleries, multi-media firms, rehearsal rooms, recording studios, artists and performers.
At TWT Property Group we see ourselves not just as developers.
Always looking to play an active role in the local arts community, every year we bring creatives and the wider community together with our TWT Block Party. For one night only, across three blocks in St Leonards, the public has the chance to enjoy a free program of exhibitions, performances, music and workshops held by TWT Creative Precinct’s resident artists.
Follow a trail through our streets, studios and galleries and meet the artists from the visual, performing, music and film disciplines to discover the aesthetic works and ideas that are transforming the Lower North Shore. From live music performances and immersive physical theatre to interactive street boards and food tastings, the TWT Block Party is an event that truly celebrates culture and creativity.

The Block Party is a free, community event presented by TWT Creative Precinct.
For one night only, the public is invited to follow a trail through the TWT Creative Precinct studios to discover the creative ideas that are transforming the Lower North Shore, and experience a free program of exhibitions, performance, music and workshops for all the community.
What an exciting launch to our 2023 Block Party with the unveiling of the new mural of Atchison Lane! We are especially honoured to have our TWT General Manager Gavin Zhang and distinguished guests North Sydney Council Mayor Zoe Baker, and North Sydney Council General Manager Therese Manns to unveil the new mural! Following with this year’s mural reveal ‘Skydweller’ by local artist Helen Proctor. With an epic reputation in the Sydney Street art scene, we are privileged to showcase Helen’s new work as part of the TWT Creative Precinct. The artwork represents the Australian landscape and the nostalgic feeling of being amongst nature. Helen wanted to paint a landscape in the urban environment to remind people of their connection to the land.
Block Party 2019 was a huge community event with over 3000 people exploring the TWT Creative Precinct that evening. More art, more food trucks, more entertainment, more visitors, more participants than ever before.
