Celebrating Creativity: Gelin Chen’s Journey at TWT Creative Precinct.

Through our artist residency program, Gelin Chen has immersed himself in a creative journey that bridges tradition and technology. Known for his innovative work with linear fiber materials, Chen’s residency at TWT Creative Precinct allowed him to explore new dimensions in his art, combining weaving techniques from his roots in Guangxi with cutting-edge composite fibers.

In his own words, this experience has opened up new avenues in his practice, culminating in his first solo exhibition, When the Beam is Readable. We’re thrilled to have supported Chen’s vision and can’t wait to see where his artistry takes him next!
