Debbie Mackinnon and Mike Staniford are thrilled to announce our forthcoming joint show, ENCOUNTER, at Becker Minty in Hobart. We have each explored our journeys through Tasmania, capturing very personal impressions of the beautiful landscape, from the wild and rocky coastline to the silent presence of Cradle Mountain.
The show will open officially in Hobart on Friday 10 November but the gallery are hosting a special VIP preview dinner with both of us on Thursday 9 November from 6-8pm. We will be sharing some of our challenges and personal anecdotes in conversation with curator, Joshua Charadia.
