From a global pandemic to local natural disasters, it has been a tough and extraordinary year for many local communities. Pandemic-related restrictions in particular, have had a profound impact on people’s lives and the way in which they choose to live going forward.
All these changes and more have helped to highlight the important role that TWT Property Group have in creating projects that listen and look to engage communities. Not only do TWT Property Group have an obligation to provide more sustainable and functional residential projects but also the importance of creating space for local community creativity and events. If the pandemic has taught TWT Property Group anything, it is that allowing communities to stay connected is where our precincts will thrive.
With this, a reimagined St Leonards emerges. Undergoing many transformations over the years, TWT Property Group St Leonards project has become one of the hottest inner-city developments in Sydney. Bringing a unique style of property development, TWT Property Group incorporates art, architecture and social well being into this project.
Experimenting with a new dynamic sculptural form, TWT Property Group St Leonards project engages and looks to deliver a more imaginative and fresh approach to the buildings setting it apart from generic blocks elsewhere on the street. Spreading this imaginative and fresh approach across three blocks between Atchison & Chandos streets, forms the TWT Property Group creative precinct. Now home to more than 100 artists and creative businesses from the visual, performing, music and film disciplines.
After an 18-month event hiatus and to highlight the TWT Property Group creative precinct, a free program of exhibitions, performance, music and workshops for all the community was held last Wednesday, 29th June. At last, the TWT Property Group creative precinct has returned to its pre-pandemic glory and can yet again, play an active role in gathering the community, revitalizing the arts and encouraging artists, performers and creative businesses to flourish during this event. TWT Property Group encouraged the public to follow a trail through the TWT Property Group creative precinct studios to discover the encapsulating ideas that are transforming the lower north shore.
TWT Property Group has bold plans to commence early work within the next month to continue to add new projects that will further grow and energise the local community. The plans will add further, vibrant new live-work-play hubs as well as major public domain upgrades with an active plaza, gardens, and public art along with beautified streets and laneways.
These unique plans will continue to drive a strong sense of character, culture and a cosmopolitan vibe for St Leonards that will greatly lift and enrich the experience for those who reside, work or visit the development. TWT Property Group looks forward to welcoming you to the next block party event as the cultural precinct project will continue to evolve.
