Xia Hang said the artwork creates a grand entrance to the new laneway, “Memory Tree is an intricate, kinetic-lit, eight metre-high ‘tree’ which reflects the site’s history, present and future. I was inspired by my childhood love of early animations such as the Transformers series.”
