TWT is proud to be a sponsor the this year’s UPtown Festival, to be held at Quarry Green in Ultimo on Saturday 28 October 2017.
After 31 years of capturing the imagination of the local community, the UPtown Festival is back and is bigger than ever thanks to a renewed push to foster community spirit within the Ultimo and Pyrmont areas and support from City West Housing, The Star, City of Sydney and Uniting.
The small community event has developed from humble beginnings and, over time, has culminated into an all-day multicultural
extravaganza, featuring performances from high-profile artists and drawing attendees from all around Sydney. Having run annually from 1981 until 2012, the Pyrmont Ultimo Network of Services (PUNS) is excited to be bringing back the UPtown Festival this Spring. With a fresh focus on the history of local community members, the UPtown Festival will offer locals a day of music, dance, food, art, and culture, open to all ages, in the heart of Ultimo.
