TWT Creative Precinct Artist, Tara Marynowsky, is holding a must-see show ‘VOLTA’ commencing 12 April 2018.

Known for the emotional, otherworldly presence in her painting works on found images, Tara Marynowsky new show ‘VOLTA’ at Chalk Horse Gallery will depict sensual and uncanny forms that somehow appear sinister despite their pretty palette.

Tara is a part of the TWT Visual Arts Studio by Brand X located at 62 Atchison Street. The studio is an open-plan space for Visual Artists and forms part of the much larger creative precinct in here in St Leonards. The studio is tenanted with Artists from a cross-section of mediums on semi-permanent tenancy agreements with Brand X.

Tara Marynowsky holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours from UNSW, College of Fine Arts, Sydney and has exhibited widely throughout Australia as well as internationally. She has been the recipient of numerous grants, awards and residencies, most recently a Marten Bequest Scholarship and including the Linden Postcard Prize, the Fraser Studio Arts Residency at Queen Street Studios in Sydney, a finalist for the Helen Lemprière Travelling Arts Scholarship and an Australia Council Inter-Arts Grant.
