Katrina Crook is one of the resident artists at Contact Sheet located in TWT Creative Precinct. The Residency Program is a new initiative of Contact Sheet, supporting artists within a dedicated space.
Katrina is a Photographic Artist based in Sydney. Katrina’s background is in the field of Cinematography with 18 years experience before moving into Photography professionally.
Katrina has been selected as a finalist in some prestigious photographic prizes in Australia, including the Olive Cotton Photographic Prize, the Moran Contemporary Prize, the Head On Mobile Prize and Portrait Prize. Exhibiting in 2016 as an Associated Exhibitor in ‘Together, Alone’ for the Head On Photographic Festival. Katrina is also a member of the Ludlite Lo-fi Photography Collective.
This image was a HeadOn Mobile Prize Finalist and exhibited in 2017 and is also a 2018 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize MCPP semi finalist. This image is currently a part of a body of work that Katrina is developing during her residency at Contact Sheet and is exhibited on her work in progress wall in the gallery.
