Building Momentum at The Collective’s Opening Weekend

TWT has officially launched the first stage of The Collective, a master-planned community that’s set to reshape the heart of Crows Nest.

This exciting project, which has been years in the making, brings together high-quality design, artistic flair, and community-driven spaces to offer a fresh take on modern living on Sydney’s North Shore.

The first stage of The Collective consists of 93 beautifully designed apartments spread across 16 levels, each with generous floorplans tailored for today’s lifestyle.

From one to four bedrooms, these homes are thoughtfully crafted with the modern resident in mind, and most even include a study to cater to the growing demand for work-from-home flexibility.

The launch weekend saw steady interest from buyers, with many of the available apartments in Stage 1 snapped up. One of those buyers was Ray Hekeik, a restaurateur from Carlingford, who is downsizing to be closer to the city.

Ray chose a $3.2 million, three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment on level 12. “We love going into the city, and we’ve got plenty of friends with apartments in there, but we didn’t want the hustle and bustle of that,” Ray said it was Crows Nest’s village vibe and unbeatable location that won him over.

And location is certainly one of The Collective’s greatest strengths. With St Leonards train station just a four-minute walk away and the new North Shore Metro line only 100 metres from your doorstep, residents can enjoy seamless connections into the CBD and beyond. But while being so well-connected, The Collective still offers a peaceful escape from the urban rush.

The surrounding parks, cafes, and community spaces create a village-like atmosphere that’s perfect for those looking to strike a balance between city convenience and suburban calm.

One of the things that sets The Collective apart is its bold integration of art and architecture. Renowned artist Mel O’Callaghan’s 22-metre art installation on the building’s façade is a striking feature that adds a creative and cultural touch to the community.

With many of the Stage 1 apartments sold during the first weekend, there are still some amazing opportunities left for those looking to be part of this vibrant new community.

Whether you’re a family, young couple, or downsizer like Ray, The Collective offers something special for everyone.

As construction of Stage 1 continues, with completion expected in 2026, now is the time to visit the display suite and get a firsthand look at what life at The Collective could offer.

For more details on pricing and availability, visit The Collective website or stop by the display suite at 64 Atchison Street, open Wednesday to Sunday.
