A Group Show by the Thursday Painters at ME Artspace

Founder and Director of ME Artspace, Debbie Mackinnon, in TWT Creative Precinct runs a vibrant painting group in the studio every Thursday – Paint with ME.

The ME art collective is an explosive mix of talent driven by the artists who drop in on Thursdays – each artist is working on their own body of work, with encouragement and inspiration from the others.

Debbie and her artists develop a sense of place through experience and knowledge; it usually refers to landscape but there is also an internal meaning – a place where you are at home.
Wind and weather, textures of the land, the colours of the sky, the fragrance of plants, the noise of animals, insects and birds… Even memories of cultural experiences over time will make a place special. These paintings celebrate how each artist has found their own sense of place, within our artistic community and within themselves.

We hope you will come along to see their exciting paintings…
