Council approves design for TWT’s Kent Street Hotel

The design for TWT’s Kent Street Hotel has been approved by the City of Sydney Council marking another significant milestone in the site’s history.

The site is located in the northern sector of the Sydney Central Business District and plans include 93 boutique hotel suites over 16 levels, hotel lobby with ancillary cafe space area at the ground floor and a roof top terrace. The design is sympathetic to the streetscape, surrounding buildings and heritage of the area through the use of contemporary materials and innovative finishes providing visual interest.

The proposed development minimises the impact on its surrounds while continuing to provide consistency to the prevailing built form and character of the Sydney CBD.
