2019 Block Party Wrap Up Highlights

On Friday night, 12th April 2019, TWT together with BrandX and our Creative Precinct partners successfully celebrated our 6th Block Party in St Leonards – our biggest and best yet! The Block Party is a free, community event, held annually at the TWT Creative Precinct. Large numbers of people were able to explore the Block Party with a wide range of creative adventures for all-ages.

The event was formally opened by Felicity Wilson MP, State Member for North Shore, with the unveiling of a new public artwork commissioned for Atchison Lane. Felicity has been a strong supporter of community organisations in this area for a number of years and is using her experience and passion for our community to be a strong local voice for North Shore.

The magnificent new mural was created by Sydney wildlife artist Thomas Jackson. Thomas puts a modern take on ‘Natural History Illustration’, painstakingly creating smaller scale works for galleries and translating these into large scale public murals. This is the 6th mural in the laneway appearing alongside artwork by Fintan Magee, Jodee Knowles, Pipe Captain, Beastman and Sophi Odling.

At TWT Property Group we want to do things differently. We bring a unique style of property development that incorporates art, architecture and social wellbeing into every project. Our commitment to the arts is a part of everything we do – in our developments as well as the broader community.

We hope you enjoyed the night with us at 2019 Block Party.
